Fourteen Black Photographs (2)

Another one from that project.

This is St Mary Axe looking towards the site of the Baltic Exchange. You can see the Gherkin Building that now occupies the site.

The blur and fuzz pretty much represents how it made my head feel even at the best of times.

Visiting it now and looking at pictures it feels like a different place. It certainly bears no resemblance to the night of the bomb; a scene I have described before on this blog. With the Baltic Exchange gone it’s very different. When I was taken to visit it by my psychologist as part of my exposure therapy it was still there. Battered and partially demolished behind hoardings.
